Battle Map Generator

Each map is a ready-to-run encounter space: a handful of connected rooms with more than one route through them, chokepoints, cover and the odd hazard. Pick a theme for the look and contents, a size (from 22 × 16 to 40 × 28 squares), a layout from open halls to tight corridors, and how much cover you want. Hit New map until one fits your scene.

Getting it to your table

• Virtual tabletops: download a gridded PNG or JPEG at the pixels-per-square your VTT uses, or a Foundry VTT scene or Universal VTT (.dd2vtt) file so walls, doors and lights are already set up.
• In person: Print PDF tiles the map at 1 inch per square on Letter or A4, ready to tape together. Bright lighting prints cleanest.
• GM prep: turn on room numbers for a keyed map, and GM markers to see cover, difficult terrain and hazards at a glance. Leave them off for the players' copy.

Maps are generated in your browser from a seed, so the same seed and settings always give the same map. Share the page link to send someone the exact map you made.
